ELF 100 Eyeshadow Palette Review

I have been eyeing this palette ever since eyeslipsface released it on its site a year or two ago. So when I came across it at Target for $10, I was very, very excited! I figured that even if half of the eyeshadows are crap, that's still 50 eyeshadows that work.
Much to my surprise, nearly all 100 eyeshadows are amazing! I took swatches (which, unfortunately, do the colors no justice) and also made a chart of the types of eyeshadows in the palette. (See below.)

Here's some background information on the product (I got the silver box edition, but it's the same as the endless eyes pro original edition):

I love this! I think it's a great buy for $10 a palette, or 10 cents an eyeshadow.

I bought this from Target, but you can also order it online from ELF's website (be sure to check for coupon codes!).

There are more pearlescent colors than matte, and there are a few shimmery, glittery eyeshadows as well. I find that the pearlescent colors are the most vibrant--they are super gorgeous under the light!

Pros:

• 100 different colors!
• Most eyeshadows are very pigmented and vibrant (w/ primer!)
• Colors blend well.
• Mirror is very handy. Also comes w/ 2 eyeshadow applicators.
• Clear cover that allows you to see the colors through the packaging.
• Matte black cover, very sophisticated and sleek packaging. Doesn't look cheap! :)

Cons:

• Not as pigmented w/out primer.
• A few chalky eyeshadows.
• Not as many matte eyeshadows as pearlescent ones.
• Packaging is flimsy.
• Not pressed as well--it can get messy!

Overall:

Super affordable!

Fun for creating lots of different looks both dramatic and natural.

Good for those who want to switch up their look.

Great as a gift.

I already have a lot of neutral eyeshadows, but this was a great investment for more brighter colors that I wouldn't normally use.

Note that the brighter colors tend to be more satiny and vivid than the neutral colors.

5/5! Would repurchase.
