Paw Print Nail Tutorial

Hey everyone! 'Today' we wanted to show you how to do a Paw Print nail design! When I say 'today' I mean last year in July! We filmed this all the way last year in July, so excuse the messy-ness of this design! Just clean up the skin around the nails and it should look fine. :)

Here's the finished look! Make sure you practice on paper first!

I hope you enjoyed this tutorial even though it was quite messy... ^^;; Better ones will come in the future, promise!

Nail of the Day: Forever 21 Orange + E.L.F. Fuchsia

Today I'm wearing Orange by Forever21, and Fuchsia by E.L.F. Cosmetics. As I said in my last NOTD, I'm in love with painting my nails randomly. It's a good way to use up nail polishes since I rarely use the orange color because it doesn't looked good by itself. I was inspired by some roses that were growing in my backyard, so it made it nice combination. :)
Here's some pictures:
Natural Lighting - 2 coats of each
 Fuchsia by E.L.F. Cosmetics
Left Hand: 1st, 2nd, 5th finger is Fuchsia, 3rd, 4th finger is Orange
Right Hand: 1st, 2nd, 5th finger is Orange, 3rd, 4th finger is Fuchsia

Orange by Forever 21
To be honest, I think this orange is more mango toned than orange toned.

Do you like this nail combination? Let me know! :) Do you have any suggestions?

Tip Tuesday #16

Hi everyone! It's Tip Tuesday #16, so we'll be giving you 6 tips under a minute! :) Hope you enjoy our video!
Watch the video here:
1. If you have a lip liner that you don’t use, you can use it as an eyeliner.
2. To make sure that your eyelashes stay curled the entire day, heat your eyelash curler with a blow dryer for a few seconds and then curl. Make sure it's not too hot before curling.
3. Minimize or prevent crows feet, wear sunglasses to protect your eyes and to keep them from squinting from the brightness.
4. If you have dark circles under your eyes, don't apply eyeliner until dark circles are covered with concealer.
5. Apply your eyeliner starting thicker on the outer edge of your lid and draw towards the inner corner of your eye, thinning the line as you go.
6. If you're addicted to coffee but you don't want your teeth to be stained, drink it out of a straw.
What do you guys think? Learn something new? :)

Nail of the Day: Soothing Petals + Essie One Day Without Blues

Today I'm wearing two nail polishes, Soothing Petals by Skintimate (not exactly sure what brand... but that's what it says on the bottom of the polish!) and One Day Without Blues by Essie. Both were limited edition colors, so unfortunately you can't get them anymore, but I'm sure you can find dupes for them! :)
I wanted to try a new and random type of combination to paint my nails, so I decided to paint the blue nail polish on the 5th and 4th finger and the pink nail polish on the 3rd, 2nd, and 1st finger. On the other hand, it was reversed, so my 5th and 4th finger were pink and my 3rd, 2nd, and 1st finger were blue. To be honest, I really like this style because I can use 2 nail polishes and because it's different than just putting one accent nail.
Enough rambling... here are a few pictures!
Natural Lighting - 2 coats of One Day Without Blues - 3 or 4 coats of Soothing Petals

I absolutely love this color, it has a pretty gold sheen to it. I got this nail polish from a TOMS event on Facebook last year for free. :)
(by the way, sorry about the lighting in this picture!! it was super cloudy outside)

I mentioned before in my NOTD post a few months ago, NOTD: Soothing Petals, that this bottle looks similar an Essie nail polish, so here's the comparison! Please check out my NOTD for this nail polish for a more in-depth "review".
I love these types of "random" combinations, I will definitely be doing more in the future!!

Tip Tuesday #15

Hi everyone! It's Tip Tuesday #15, so we'll be giving you 5 tips under a minute! :) Hope you enjoy our video!
Watch the video here:

Tip 1 - Don't fool yourself into buying expensive fake eyelashes. You can buy affordable ones from E.L.F. cosmetics, Diaso, or eBay!

Tip 2 - Use baby wipes to remove makeup stains on your clothing.
Tip 3 - Use a q-tip to remove excess lip gloss.
Tip 4 - To make mineral makeup last longer, be sure to wash your face and apply a thin layer of moisturizer.
Tip 5 - Use brown mascara instead of black, black can be too much of a contrast if your lashes and brows are too light.

DIY Floral Spring Headband

Hey everyone! Today I'm going to be teaching you how to create a DIY floral spring headband with just using fake flowers, floral tape, pliers, and metal wire! It's super easy so try it out! :)
Watch the video here:

Here's the step by step instructions!
1 - First, wrap the wire around your head for measurements
2 - Then, make the wire twice as long and fold it over
3 - Next, cut the wires using pliers
4 - Twist the ends of the wires together
5 - Then, make loops with both ends
6 - Tie the loops together, as tight as you want, depending on how you measured your head
7 - Use plies to secure the wire
8 - Cut about 4 inches of floral tape
9 - Wrap the floral tape around the back of the headband, cut off any extra tape
10 - Cut the stem off of the flower, leave about 2 inches
11 - Arrange the flowers and decorations in the way you want them around the wire
12 - Wrap the floral tape around the wire and flower
13 - Tape on the rest and secure!
Hope you enjoyed this DIY! Happy Spring
If you decide to try out this DIY, let us know how it turns out! You can even send us pictures to our twitter!

Tip Tuesday #14

Hey everyone! Today is Tip Tuesday #14, so we'll be giving you six tips under a minute! :)
Watch the video here:

Tip 1 - Shampoo less frequently- 3 times a week, unless your hair is oily. But the more you shampoo it, the faster it’ll become oily.
Tip 2 - If you tend to sweat a lot, use a mineral-based powder foundation, which helps absorb oil and keeps skin looking fresh. Or use a cream or liquid foundation, and then dust a light layer of powder over it to set it.
Tip 3 - For a dewy glow, use creamy products. It will have a stained effect so the color stays put, but it’s sheer, fresh and natural-looking.
Tip 4 - Want lasting eye liner? Mix a few eye drops with your eye shadow. Apply with an eyeliner brush to the lash line on top of the liner for all day wear.
Tip 5 - Use Neosporin on stuboorn white heads and pimples overnight to help clean and heal skin.
Tip 6 - Ice your brows 10 seconds prior to plucking to numb the skin.
